Welcome to Country Road Goldens

 

Country Road Golden Retrievers is a family-run, small boutique breeder based in Phoenix, Arizona.

All of our dogs are raised in a loving home environment and are health tested to ensure strong, happy puppies. We focus on quality, temperament, and lifelong companions rather than quantity, giving each puppy the love and attention they deserve.

 

 Our puppies are $3,250. This includes age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, health records, and ongoing breeder support.

Even after our puppies go to their new homes, our support continues. We proudly offer 8 weeks of Free Puppy Socialization and Obedience Classes to all of our families each week.

 

These complimentary classes are a favorite among our owners because they provide a safe, structured environment to ask questions, receive guidance, and learn alongside a professional dog trainer. Owners receive helpful grooming tips and tricks, foundational obedience instruction, and ongoing support during those important early months.

 

Most importantly, the puppies benefit from critical early socialization with their littermates while they are not yet fully vaccinated and unable to safely explore the outside world. This gives them a secure setting to build confidence, practice appropriate play, and develop essential skills.

 

We also bring in guest dogs to each class so puppies can meet different breeds and temperaments. This broadens their exposure while giving owners insight into other breeds and their purposes.

 

Our Free Puppy Socialization and Obedience Classes are truly a highlight for everyone involved — strengthening the puppies, supporting our families, and building a lasting community well beyond adoption day.

From day three, our puppies begin the Puppy Culture curriculum, designed to give them the best start in life. This includes:

 

• Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) for brain and body development

• Early Scent Introduction (ESI) to build confidence and awareness

 

 

We combine health, early socialization, and positive experiences to raise well-rounded, happy Goldens.

We prioritize health above all. All our Goldens—and the sires we select—have comprehensive health certifications, including:

 

• OFA hips and elbows

• Heart exams by a board-certified cardiologist

• OFA Eye exams by a veterinary ophthalmology specialist

• DNA testing for 256+ genetic conditions
